Gia Comolli (1965-    )

Gia Comolli composer Gia Comolli was trained at Peabody Conservatory where she earned degrees in both piano and composition under Fernando Laires and Morris Cotel, respectively. She has also studied composition with David Del Tredici at City College of New York on a Fellowship. A recipient of numerous prizes and awards, most notably the Charles Ives Prize from the Academy of Arts and Letters, Comolli has also worked extensively with and written works for the DaPonte String Quartet.
